In honor of Father's Day and all who bring fatherly love and support to our lives, we are excited to share a film produced by one of our DSRG fathers, Ted White. Below is a brief description of the film and event details.
Filmed over 12 years, Nightmare Turned Beautiful is a documentary that intimately shares a father's reflections, delights and struggles while parenting his daughter who has Down syndrome. The film confronts the complexities of raising a child with special needs within our highly competitive society and ultimately reveals the joy and liberation shared between father and daughter. Filmmaker Ted White and daughter Eve White will be present for a discussion after the film.
